Pretty cool game.
Although like you say in the description, it is a bit small, so that's kind of a draw back, but at least you knew this before being told.
I think I found a bug, it's possible to get literally stuck or cut off from the stairs, this happened to me at level four. I got boxed in and wasn't able to get to the steps.
One more thing, it's not so much of a bug but, if you turn on the "hold to move" option and walk into a wall, the stepping sound keeps playing in accordance with how long the button was pressed instead of, if it is currently being pressed. not bad just a little counter-intuitive.

Also, sorry one last thing, a "game exit" or "return to menu" option might be nice.

Anyway, Cool Game!

SirenGames responds:

It takes effort to walk into a wall regardless of whether you're gaining distance or not. We continue to reward this effort by keeping the counter going. You're welcome and thank you for playing the dungeon!

That's pretty cool, and you did all that with just AS3, that's impressive.
I can think of quite a verity of ways to use something like this. First things off the top of my head...
gears on an opening and closing menu, train or tank wheels, background eye-candy for any number of situations, the list could go on really.
One thing though I think you might get a smoother gear rotation if you turn the frame rate up a little.
Still very cool.

zizonu responds:

Thanks and you are right about the frame rate issue, it becomes much smoother once you increase it.

One of if not the best arcade shooter I've played on newgrounds. I have to say my only problem with this game is I personally found shooting bald eagle's to be distasteful, but other than that this was really awesome. The achievements were interesting and creative but simple enough that it kept me trying to get them all (although I do wish they were newgrounds medals) so that definitely added some replay value to the old levels. All in all this is definitely one of the gems of flash games.

Ultima2876 responds:

Thanks man, that means a lot to me :)

And yeah, on the bald-eagle front... I'm not american myself, so I don't know much about bird hunting laws etc. I did hear very close to release that this might be seen as being in bad taste but unfortunately it was too late to do anything about it. I am planning a sequel with various gameplay improvements and I'll likely be removing bald eagles from that.

Thanks again for your support - it's really awesome to know that there's people out there really enjoying the games I create! It gives me a warm fuzzy feeling and it's exactly the reason why I do this for a (sometimes very touch and go) living :)

not awful. might be nice if the arrows would glow or flash at the correct time, instead of just "guestimating" when the is arrow right over the target.

ssibi responds:

Thnx I'll work on that :)

I like it, but it could definitely be improved upon. First, a small tool tip window would be awesome, even though I'm no stranger to TD game's it took me a little while to figure out what everything did, and I'm ashamed to say just long it took me to understand that "blingbling" was the currency used to buy more towers. another thing is progress, or being able to tell how close the ending is, I got past level 60 with no indication as to what's coming next, or when it would get to me. Overall it's a good game though.

Also some background music might be nice too :)

yofreke responds:

Tooltips would be nice... There actually is no progress, it goes on forever and you can never loose. The miss counter will go up, but that is it. The 'game' is meant to just be a quick time waster, wrap up 15 minutes or something when you're bored. If I do get around to making a second, there will hopefully be some music and more towers and a bit more balanced progression.
Thanks for the comment!

Nice, just the right amount of addicting and annoying XD. If you don't mind a suggestion, it might be easier to control the ball if the gravity or the jumping took longer the more you held the button down that way it might be easier to tell how far and how long the ball will be in the air. To a point of course you wouldn't want the player to fly around or anything.

Also it was slightly shallow, I do NOT mean that as an insult it's just that one button interaction isn't exactly deep.

Nickmanr94 responds:

Thanks for the suggestion, ill add it to the game. Thanks for the review :)

Hello, thank you for reading. Unfortunately there's not much to say... sorry.
